FSN makes bonehead move...Fires Mike Lange

The title says it all. How can you fire the Voice of the Penguins??? Does FSN not want people to watch the games? I for one will be listening to them on the radio if they do not reverse course and hire him back. There is not a better Play by Play guy in the business. The Penguins goals just do sound the same on National TV without Mike Lange using his patented goal calls.

Lange is still considering taking the Radio job for the Penguins which quickly offered him the job as they have no control over the TV.

A guy like this should get to leave on his own terms to a standing ovation.

Malkin signed...(just not yet)

Reports out of Russia yesterday were that the Pens have signed No 2 pick Evgeni Malkin but as it turns out they were a bit premature. While it is no real worry that the Pens will sign Malkin now that Russia is apart of the Transfer agreement and that Malkin contract for the first 3 years of his career is set in stone. The only thing holding up the signing is the NHL and Russia finishing the paper work to make it official.
